No: generating a video requires a signed-in account and 20 purchased credits. Browsing the examples and guides, choosing photos and checking settings are free. A local photo preview is not a generated-video preview.
Current one-time USD packs are Single $6.90, Five Pack $29.90 and Studio Pack $99.90. There is no subscription and purchased credits never expire. All use the same approximately 9-second, 480p Seedance 2.5 workflow.
Version illustrationWhat do the packs cover?
Single: 20 credits / 1 generation / $6.90. Five Pack: 100 credits / 5 generations / $29.90. Studio Pack: 400 credits / 20 generations / $99.90. A solo or duo request both use 20 credits. More attempts use more credits.
Face looks weird or hands smear: do I get credits back?
A confirmed technical failure returns the reserved 20 site credits. A completed video with facial details, hands or movement you dislike is different from a failed task. Keep the task ID for support. Before spending credits on another attempt, choose a clearer, front-facing portrait with even lighting; improved likeness is not guaranteed.
